Full Charge Bookkeeper - Robert Half

We are anticipating the need for experienced Full-Charge Bookkeepers in the following cities: Ontario, Corona, Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Upland, and Montclair.

This role requires local candidates who can provide on-site support when necessary.

As a Full-Charge Bookkeeper, you’ll handle the complete bookkeeping process for businesses in your community, ensuring accurate records, timely reporting, and vital financial insights.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting software, highly organized, and ready to take ownership of the bookkeeping function from start to finish.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Process and submit payroll while ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Handle sales tax filings and compliance as needed.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Collaborate with business owners and external accounting professionals during tax season or audits

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (desktop and online) and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills, including formulas and data analysis).
• Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be located in or near one of the following cities: Ontario, Corona, Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Upland, or Montclair for potential on-site collaboration with clients or team members.
