Senior Graphic Designer

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead creative projects from concept to completion, spanning digital, web, and print mediums. You’ll work collaboratively with content teams, manage design workflows, print production, and layout design to ensure high-quality design solutions that align with the company’s goals:

Responsibilities:

• Provide creative direction and oversee design projects from concept to completion across digital, web, and print platforms.
• Lead product redesigns and ensure brand consistency.
• Collaborate with editorial/content teams to manage project deliverables, timelines, and workflows.
• Work with printers to maintain best practices and implement cost-saving strategies, preparing final files for production.
• Assist the marketing team with design needs, including website design, ads (print and digital), brochures, catalogs, and presentations.
• Maintain and update design documentation and processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in digital and print design (experience with educational publishing or magazine design is a plus).
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
• Strong understanding of book/print layout and typography principles.
• Web design experience (HTML/CSS knowledge is a bonus).
• Proven creative skills (portfolio required).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative design solutions.
• AI literacy and the ability to apply AI trends and tools in creative work.
• Experience with WordPress is preferred (since all websites are built on the platform).
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Commute on-site 3 days/week to Calumet City, IL
