Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: New York, NY 10016
Schedule:
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Job Summary:
We are seeking a MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, ensuring patient safety and accuracy in diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate will have experience operating MRI equipment, working in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans according to established imaging protocols and physician instructions.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure patient safety by following proper screening, positioning, and contrast administration protocols.
- Monitor patients during scans and provide necessary support to ensure comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to hospital and department policies regarding infection control, radiation safety, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience working with relevant imaging equipment.
Education:
- Current certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Certifications & Licenses:
- ARRT certification required.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency in MRI procedures, and excellent communication and patient care skills.
