MRI Technologist - MRI25-19851

Location: New York, NY 10016

Schedule:

• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• Variable schedule, including weekends, overnights, and flexible hours (willing to work with candidates to accommodate scheduling needs)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, ensuring patient safety and accuracy in diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate will have experience operating MRI equipment, working in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to established imaging protocols and physician instructions.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure patient safety by following proper screening, positioning, and contrast administration protocols.
• Monitor patients during scans and provide necessary support to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality imaging results.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adhere to hospital and department policies regarding infection control, radiation safety, and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience working with relevant imaging equipment.

Education:

• Current certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).

Certifications & Licenses:

• ARRT certification required.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency in MRI procedures, and excellent communication and patient care skills.
