Job Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Engineering Division through the development and maintenance of meaningful, actionable, Quality Assurance metrics
- Drive departmental procedural compliance goals by providing timely updates to faulty/outdated procedures, and through the creation of metrics that reflect procedural effectiveness
- Regularly Interface with Engineering, Design, Program Office, and the internal customer
- Develop visual interfaces that simplify complex datasets
- Performing tasks associated with Quality Assurance
- Provide quick turnaround of data visualizations for emergent needs
Required/Preferred Education/Training:
- Associate's degree in computer science, statistics, or equivalent data science discipline, OR
- Graduate of an accredited Data Analytics/Visualization or Data Science program, OR
- 3 years' relevant analytics experience developing metrics and data visualizations.
Required/Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating Python based queries using various modules including Pandas and Numpy.
- Experience in compiling and producing visualizations in Tableau, Alteryx, or other data visualization software.
- Mastery of Excel, and proficiency with MS Access.
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute projects in a team setting.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate programming and visualization proficiency through Github, or an equivalent portfolio repository. The link to the repository/portfolio should be included with the resume upon submission.
