Position Overview:

Our Counter Sales Associates (AKA Customer Sales & Service Representatives) are knowledgeable, energetic and consistently deliver the best overall customer experience. To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate and customer obsessed while serving commercial and residential consumers in the green industry.

What you’ll do:

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customers
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers
• Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person, via the phone or through online ordering
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
• Conduct safe and timely deliveries using a company vehicle
• Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow sales with current and potential customers
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance.
• Assist with merchandising product, managing inventory, and other store tasks while maintaining a safe working environment.

Work schedule:

• Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays during Peak Season (March-November)

Estimated starting pay:

• $18.46-$22.92 hourly

Skills We Are Seeking::

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be willing to do deliveries and work in the warehouse as needed
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience preferred
• Green industry experience or knowledge of landscaping or irrigation supplies a plus
• Must be ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
• Must be comfortable with using mobile applications and learning new computer software
• Inventory management experience is helpful, but not required
• Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required

• The sign-on bonus will be paid to the Employee in one lump-sum amount, less all applicable local, state and federal withholding taxes, within the first 3 weeks of the date of hire. Employee must be actively employed at SiteOne in order to receive the bonus. Bonus may be subject to repayment if the Employee quits, resigns, terminates, or is terminated from employment with the Company within the first anniversary of the date of hire.
