Education:
Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent required
Preferred: A.A.S. degree in related field. IEHA certification as CEH (Certified Executive Housekeeper) or AHE certification as CHESP (Certified Environmental Services Professional).
Experience:
Minimum: Two years as a Housekeeping Team Leader or one year as Housekeeping Supervisor.Preferred: Prior housekeeping management experience.
Responsibility Summary:
Provides operational management, oversees supervision of department employees, and coordinates all activities assigned to the Housekeeping Departments at all assigned locations within a Health System. Responsible for all Housekeeping and Linen activities in accordance with departmental Policies and Procedures, infection prevention standards, and the organizational values.Facilitates services relative to housekeeping and linen distribution to allow for achievement of the health system's objectives.
