General Manager - Akron
Salary Range: $135K - $185K Permanent Position / Benefits
An Akron, Ohio area High Tech Precision Tool Manufacturer seeks an experienced Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing a business strategic plan to maintain current customers and to acquire new ones, and provide guidance to sales & marketing teams to achieve revenue targets.
REQUIREMENTS:Candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in one or more of the following: Business, Marketing, and/or Engineering. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Candidate must be proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of successful Business Management experience to include a minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record of success in a commercial or sales management role specific to the metal coatings, metal parts manufacturing, and/or precision tool making industry.
Preferred Candidate will have a strong understanding of the metal coatings market and precision tool making industry.Candidate must have experience identifying market trends, developing new business opportunities, implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness, set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals while providing leadership and mentoring to the sales team.
Candidate is required to prepare & present monthly AIM reports on sales performance, market conditions and potential business opportunities.Candidate must be problem solver focused on customer service and customer satisfaction.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
