The Surgical Pathologist’s Assistant will report directly to the Pathologists' Assistant Manager. Supported by a large team of senior laboratory technicians and World-renowned Pathologists, this person will join a fantastic hospital in their laboratory as well as have the opportunity to grow in their skills and career.
The Surgical Pathologist’s Assistant will be diligent in handling specimen preparation for fixation and embedding, and conducting cutting-edge frozen section procedures. This requires having a high level of technical understanding in how to correctly perform and evaluate testing.In addition, the Surgical Pathologist’s Assistant will be able to work independently and efficiently. Most importantly, Surgical Pathologist’s Assistant will be responsible for examining surgical specimens for diagnoses, perfecting autopsy techniques, and photographing findings.
