Job Description
Wheelers is seeking a bilingual Human Resources Generalist who is fluent in both English and Spanish. This role will support our diverse workforce and help manage various HR functions within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Support the recruitment and hiring process, including screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new employees
- Manage employee relations, including addressing concerns and providing support in both English and Spanish
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Translate HR-related documents, policies, and communications between English and Spanish
- Conduct training sessions in both English and Spanish as needed
- Assist with workers' compensation claims and other HR-related issues
- Support payroll processing and weekly time keeping adjustments
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an HR related role
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Fundamental knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets
- Ability to produce positive work references
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
