Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services is a fast-growing, clinician-owned company that truly cares and understands what home healthcare is all about. We are searching for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Auditor to join our administrative team!

The Quality Assurance Auditor will be responsible for ensuring compliance and accuracy in documentation across the organization. This role involves conducting audits, providing training and support to staff, and collaborating with operational leaders to enhance documentation practices.

This Full Time position offers a rate of $37 per hour, in addition to the Benefits shown below.

Quality Assurance Auditor Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Documentation Audits: Conduct daily reviews of documentation data reports to identify discrepancies, ensuring timely correction by therapists.
  • Reporting Findings: Prepare comprehensive reports on audit results, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and Support: Assist in training healthcare providers and administrative staff on proper documentation practices and coding requirements. Offer ongoing support for compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing documentation processes, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of all audits, tracking trends and recurrent discrepancies to inform operational leaders.
  • QAPI Participation: Prepare and present audit reports at QAPI meetings, highlighting findings, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to documentation standards, providing constructive feedback to enhance practices.
  • Discrepancy Identification: Proactively detect and report inconsistencies or areas for improvement in medical records and documentation practices.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and industry best practices to ensure compliance

Requirements:

Must be a Registered Therapist or Assistant, Registered Nurse or LPN licensed in the state of Massachusetts
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with audit software and electronic documentation systems.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Relevant experience in healthcare documentation and compliance preferred.

Compensation details: 37-39 Hourly Wage
