Overview:

Responsibilities:

As a Systems Administrator (Windows) with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

  • Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response to maintain operating efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance to meet Cyber Support Squadron goals utilizing sound and reasonable solutions to meet complex and challenging problems.
  • Perform system security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
  • Work on the development or refinement of current and future IT systems.
  • Set up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system-wide software, and allocating mass storage space.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SSBI with SCI eligibility
  • 2 – 4 Years of related experience maintaining smooth operation of multi-user, Windows-based computer systems
  • Applicable training certificate issued in accordance with guidelines provided by the software vendor (i.e. Microsoft MCSE/MCSA, Oracle DBA, etc.) from an accredited training institution plus related experience.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification such as:
  • Security+ CE (Continuing Education)
  • SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
  • GSEC Certification
  • GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional)
  • CySA+ ** (Cybersecurity Analyst)
  • CCNA Security (Cisco Certified Network Associate - Security)
Pay Transparency Statement:
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $66,100.00/Yr. - USD $139,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
