Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity based in Tampa, Florida, for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role is embedded within the construction/contractor industry and will involve the management of full cycle accounts payable tasks, including three-way match procedures and handling of invoices.
Must be English/Spanish bilingual, have QuickBooks experience, and a construction background. This position is fully onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
- Maintain precise customer credit records
- Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
- Assist in the management of workload due to growth
- Conduct a three-way match for accounts payable
- Handle invoices, some of which may have 100+ receipts attached
- Utilize accounting software systems and ERP for various accounting functions
- Use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
- Implement accrual accounting methods as part of accounts payable duties
- Conduct auditing tasks as required
- Manage transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH)
- Employ account coding skills as part of the wider role.
- Must possess proficiency in Account Coding
- Experience with Accounting Software Systems is essential
- Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required
- Ability to execute Accounting Functions effectively
- Must have experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is necessary
- Prior experience in Auditing is desirable
- Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations
- QuickBooks expertise is crucial
