Staff Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Torrance, California. The primary function of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of our accounting processes. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, performing bank reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and managing the month-end close process.

• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and consistency in accounting records
• Conduct bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with financial records
• Prepare and post journal entries, providing detailed documentation for each entry
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accounted for and reported accurately
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline and improve accounting procedures
• Provide support for audits, contributing to the preparation of audit schedules and reports
• Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies or inaccuracies
• Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting systems and processes
• Participate in special projects as needed to support the overall financial objectives of the organization. • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is required.
• Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of General Ledger.
• Ability to prepare and review Journal Entries is essential.
• Should have experience in performing Month End Close procedures.
