Zoombezi Bay Admissions Team Member

Overview:

As a member of our Zoombezi Bay Admissions team, you have the opportunity to be the first or last impression to thousands of guests. Our team has a variety of responsibilities including, ticket sales, guest entry and exit, Zoompass operations, and slide attendant duties throughout Zoombezi Bay grounds.

A Zoombezi Bay Admissions team member works outside every day, and It requires a lot of time spent on your feet. If you are friendly, outgoing, and a GREAT communicator, Zoombezi Bay Admissions is the place for you!

Responsibilities:

• Welcomes guests to the park and answers all necessary questions.
• Transact tickets.
• Responsible for proper use of memberships and tickets.
• Promotes upcoming events.
• Responsible for access control at Season Pass Entry.
• Responsible for proper attire entering and exiting the park.
• Completes cash/credit/check transactions.
• Accounts and balances receipts with register.
• Maintains excellent guest relations and interfaces with guests in resolution of inquiries.
• Staff after-hours gate and special events as necessary.
• Assists guests with general park information and memberships.
• May work slide towers or point of sale for ZOOMPASS.
• May act as slide attendant and or slide loader at tops of slides.
• May assist with lost children.
• Position may require job rotation within department as operational needs dictate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Posted schedule may be subject to change based on operational needs such as weather condition, guest attendance and department needs.

Qualifications:

• 16 years of age or older.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer knowledge/skills.
• Able to successfully pass a cash handling training program.
• Able to lift bank bag weighing up to 20lbs.
• Able to balance multiple assignments successfully.
• Able to work in varied weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, rain).
• Able to maintain courteous and helpful behavior.
• Able to maintain appropriate employee appearance (see uniform guidelines at each time clock and the employee handbook).
• Able to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• This position is not eligible for overtime pay.
