About Our Client

Our client is an American retail apparel company comprising several lifestyle brands looking for a HR Manager to join their fast paced and growing team in the New York office.

• Lead employee relations in the retail environment, promoting a positive workplace climate and maintaining high team morale.
• Actively assess employee engagement and morale within retail teams, collaborating with leadership to identify areas of improvement and create actionable strategies to address them.
• Investigate employee claims, complaints, and concerns, ensuring prompt resolutions and follow-up to prevent recurrence.
• Provide coaching to retail management teams on employee relations best practices, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
• Support the retail hiring process, assist with on boarding, and conduct exit interviews to gather valuable feedback.
• Oversee HR operations including leave management, compensation practices, talent acquisition, benefits administration, and HR system management.

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in HR generalist management and administration
• Oral and written communication skills
