Lead Machine Operator

We are seeking a Lead Machine Operator to oversee the setup, operation, and optimization of laser-enabled machinery used in processing food-grade materials for flexible packaging. salary: $47,000 - $55,000 per yearshift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
Reports to: Production Team Leader- The Production Supervisor and Production Team Leader will establish daily goals to ensure timely and quality processing of orders that meet customer requirements.
- Set up, adjust, and operate laser machines in accordance with precise work order specifications and quality standards.
- Perform and document quality control checks as outlined in the work order.
- Complete work instructions promptly and meet production efficiency goals.
- Maintain communication with the Production Team Leader and/or Production Supervisor to ensure adherence to the production schedule.
- Submit completed work orders with the necessary documentation to the Production Supervisor.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to fulfill all responsibilities.
- Continuously seek to improve personal and team production performance.
- Assist in packaging and shipping completed jobs as needed.
- Support other production areas and secondary operations as required.
- Comply with the company’s SQF certification, quality, and safety standards.
- Be available for periodic overtime to ensure on-time delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
