JOB DUTIES:
Collect, interpret, and analyze logistics data, assessing transportation and delivery reliability, evaluating supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution processes to optimize supply chain efficiency. Utilize mathematical modeling and optimization theory by choosing the appropriate quantitative methods to support supply chain operations.
Apply systematic process-oriented approaches to evaluate supply chain performance through statistical modeling and regression analysis. Maintain centralized database of logistics information and assess the quality and delivery requirements through rigorous data validation and visualization using SQL, QlikView and Python.
Track product flow from origin to delivery via web-based logistics systems and other appropriate methods of monitoring inventory and shipment vehicles. Review and analyze transportation costs, parts procurement, logistics processes and procedures, inventory issues such as backorders and other fulfillment metrics.
Establish performance metrics for measuring, comparing, and evaluating factors influencing the supply chain. Monitor and evaluate inventory transactions, including receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity, to ensure efficient supply chain strategy and operations.
Conduct analysis of current inventory systems and operational procedures, offering strategic recommendations to optimize supply chain effectiveness and profitability through streamlined logistics and inventory management practices. Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to the consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
Track cost fluctuations for raw materials and transportation through ongoing collaboration with suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies. Provide information and guidance on the availability and cost of supplies and materials based on supply chain and demand forecasts utilizing various models.

Coordinate engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Masters degree (or equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management/Engineering, or a related field. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. Must have knowledge of Supply Chain Strategy, Logistics Information Management, Python, Demand Forecasting, Logistics Data Analysis, Regression Analysis, SQL, QlikView, Data Visualization, and Warehousing and Distribution Management.

Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. The employer will accept any level of knowledge or proficiency in the specific skills listed in this section gained through education or experience.

SALARY: $72,883 to $73,798 per year
HOURS: 40 hours/week, MF
