Robert Half is offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Enterprise Risk Management role in our Real Estate & Property industry team, based in New York. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and executing the organization's ERM program, managing risk frameworks, mitigating organization risks, and aligning risk management practices with organizational objectives.

Job Title: Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Manager
Location: Remote
Job Type: Part-time (20-30 hours per week)
Pay: $90+/hour

Duration: 3+ months

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement the ERM program, including frameworks, tools, and methodologies, to align with the company’s strategic priorities.
  • Establish and maintain dynamic risk registers and workflows that allow prioritization and proactive management of risks.
  • Identify and apply best practices for issues management, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Oversee and advance processes to identify, document, track, and resolve risk-related issues organization-wide.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create accountability while monitoring and driving resolution of high-priority risk concerns.
  • Prepare and present materials for ERM-related meetings, including dashboards, reports, and action plans tailored for executive leaders and the board.
  • Lead risk workshops, awareness programs, and training to nurture a strong culture of risk management at all levels of the organization.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on risk-related inquiries and engagements.
  • Develop and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to accurately assess the company’s risk environment.
  • Proactively identify emerging threats and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Regularly evaluate risk management frameworks to adapt to evolving priorities and business needs.
  • Ensure all risk management activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and corporate policies.
  • Work closely with internal audit teams to evaluate and enhance controls affecting risk management processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management or a related role.
  • Proven ability to establish and run risk management frameworks and systems.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to translate complex risk concepts into actionable strategies tailored for diverse stakeholders.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in ADP - Financial Services
  • Proficiency in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Expertise in Compliance software and compliance management
  • Solid understanding and experience with CRM systems
  • Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM
  • Strong knowledge of AML - Anti Money Laundering procedures
  • Experience in auditing and risk management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven experience in complaint handling and resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure company-wide compliance with regulations
