CTG is seeking to fill a Systems Support Analyst opening for our client in Melbourne, FL.

Location: Melbourne, FL

Duration: 12 months

Overview:
CTG’s Melbourne Office specializes in developing software for warehouse management systems, with our largest client being a major US food and beverage manufacturer. We are currently looking for a Systems Support Analyst to join our Operations Team in Melbourne, FL.

This is a full-time, salaried position with a work culture that promotes autonomy, growth, and a great team environment. While the position offers flexibility, it is not remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Become an application domain expert to provide support to customer site users.
  • Initially provide customer support and troubleshooting for the application.
  • As expertise grows, take on diagnosing site issues, modifying site configurations, teaching users, and supporting new software deployments.
  • Analyze and resolve issues by reading and learning scripting languages such as Python, CSV, JSON, HTML, and SQL.
  • Find the root cause of problems and share your knowledge with customers.
  • Document all steps taken to resolve site issues in Jira ticketing system.
  • Train the Customer helpdesk team on issue diagnosis to reduce engagement from Tier 2.
  • Serve as the liaison between the customer and Tier 3 or Engineering for issues at site.
  • Take ownership of issues, and work with Tier 3 or Engineering to resolve them.
  • Communicate to all stakeholders about the status of your tickets.
  • Research issues to identify root causes and report findings.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with Tier 3 or Engineering support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Travel up to 25% to customer locations.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and learn scripting languages such as Python, CSV, JSON, HTML, and SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems and tools.
  • Proficient in Jira or similar ticketing systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in system support, troubleshooting, or similar roles is preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse management software or customer support is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a technical support environment.

Education:

  • A BS in a technical field is preferred, but not required.
