Business Development Specialist
The ideal candidate has at least 2 3 + years of law firm business development experience - RFP experience, Chambers/Directory submissions, etc.). Candidate will support Litigation groups in marketing/developing new business, working on projects to secure new clients, strengthen existing relationships, and increase visibility of the practices resulting in measurable ROI.
Duties: Create reports to leverage client relationship building activities, pitch and proposal efforts, client meetings, business trips, and content engagement. Contribute to drafting of business proposals, client presentations, and responses to RFPs.Understand/track client development activities, efforts, and results in CRM system. Collaborate with events team to produce client events, providing on-the-ground event coverage, and post-event reports. Assist with securing and distributing CLE accreditation.
Lead budget input and reporting. Collaborate with content team to draft/develop group marketing materials. Analyze content engagement data to identify leads from content and marketing campaigns. Coordinate submissions for relevant practice group awards, including Chambers.
Lead client alert process. Drive external content updates. Develop segmented client and prospect mailing lists.
Requirements: Bachelors degree. Minimum of two years experience in law firm or professional services marketing. Strong written and interpersonal communications skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Demonstrated leadership and proactivity. Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, Salesforce, and Pardot.
Salary range of $98k - $146k based on experience and area.
