As the Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the welcoming face of our imaging center, serving as the initial point of contact for patients, referring physicians, and the general public. Your role is crucial in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and Welcoming: Ensure all patients and their families feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
  • Patient Assistance: Anticipate and attend to the needs of our patients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage patient check-ins, answer and route telephone calls, schedule appointments, and handle front office tasks efficiently.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect patient balances at the time of service, ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes.

Position Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule Details: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm OR 8:30am-5pm

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior Experience:

  • 0 - 2+ years of experience working in a customer support role or hospitality field

Special Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service background and focus
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working in a physician practice or other type of medical services office
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Prior patient collections experience in a medical setting
  • Medical records experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
