Machine Operator – Manufacturing
Location: New Albany, Ohio
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and calibrate machines for production runs according to specifications.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently while monitoring production quality.
- Inspect products for quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines.
- Maintain accurate production logs and records of machine operation and quality inspections.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

- Calibrate machines to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Operation:
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor machine operations during production to ensure quality standards are met.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect products for quality and consistency during the production process.
- Identify and report any defects or irregularities in materials or finished products.
- Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines.
- Report any significant malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate production logs and records of machine operation, maintenance, and quality inspections.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all tasks.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Communicate effectively about production progress and any challenges encountered.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.
- Participate in safety training and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshooting:
- Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
