Aretum is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Consultant Research Analyst at Aretum, you will be responsible for providing in-depth research, analysis, and consulting services to our government clients.

You will play a key role in delivering insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making and drive positive outcomes for our clients in various sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality research and analysis, synthesize data, and draw actionable insights
  • Present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Create data visualizations, charts, and graphs that communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff and motivate team members to achieve project objectives
  • Think strategically, anticipate future trends, and develop plans to achieve long-term goals
  • Identify problems, analyze root causes, and develop solutions to complex issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field (e.g., business/public administration, communications, etc.)
  • 4+ years’ experience performing complex, program evaluations using various research and analysis tools and techniques (e.g., landscape analysis, qualitative coding, economic impact analysis, etc.)
  • Proficient visualizing data using Excel, Tableau, and/or Power BI to create charts, graphs, and reports that communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Experienced developing detailed project plans, including assigning resources, time, and interim milestones across a critical path
  • Experienced managing and coaching junior staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government public trust or clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Existing DHS or FEMA Entry on Duty suitability
  • Experience in federal government consulting
  • Experience in IT, cybersecurity, or national security related field
  • Familiarity with Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/FEMA programs or initiatives
