Responsibilities:The Senior Security Engineer is tasked with maintaining the digital security of the organization or client's networks. This role involves implementing new protocols, operating a computer system to protect against cyber attacks, and managing the IT infrastructure to ensure maximum protection within the organization.
Responsibilities also include developing technical solutions and security tools, mitigating vulnerabilities, and automating repeatable tasks. The Senior Security Engineer architects, designs, implements, maintains, and operates information system security controls and countermeasures.
Additionally, they analyze and recommend security controls and procedures throughout the acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle of information systems, monitoring for compliance.
Qualifications:- Fourteen (14) years of experience as a security engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
-Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level 2 and CISSP Certification is mandatory.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI polygraph
