Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)- FACILITY;
Use equipment appropriate to each type of movement. Must maintain accuracy with all documentation. Adjusts dock plates to truck floor surface at shipping dock.
- OPERATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS;
Must be able to read, write and understand English. Must possess basic computer skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and Logistics Manager. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- HEALTH AND SAFETY;
Adheres to safety policies and procedures in compliance with Berry’s guidelines. Visually inspects work environment for hazards, equipment safeguards, employees’ safety, and adherence to policies. Maintain compliance with OSHA, company, and housekeeping rules.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
H.S. graduate or equivalent preferred and previous forklift experience. Must be dependable, reliable and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly.
