Ultrasound Sonographer - Maternal Fetal Medicine
Responsibilities:
- The technologist performs Ultrasound procedures according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by a licensed physician or their designated health care provider.
- The Sonographer provides information to the patient about the purpose of the ultrasound procedure and responds to the patient's questions and concerns.
- The Sonographer recognizes the patient's individuality and provides quality care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner using professional and ethical judgment.
- The diagnostic medical sonographer maintains continued competence through lifelong learning, which includes continuing education, acquisition of specialty specific credentials, and recredentialing.

Qualifications:
Education Requirements- Post High School Diploma Program
- Relevant Experience
- ARDMS certification and registration or other acceptable Ultrasound credentialing body. Registry-eligible technologists must become registered by the ARDMS ( or other acceptable Ultrasound credentialing body) within 24 months of graduation as required by the American College of Radiology for Ultrasound accreditation.
