Concrete Superintendent
Job Summary::
The Concrete Superintendent oversees all aspects of concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive concrete construction experience, and the ability to coordinate teams, equipment, and materials efficiently.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities::
- Supervise and manage daily field operations for concrete construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and crews to ensure project goals are met.
- Oversee concrete pours, finishing, and formwork installation to maintain high-quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to guide field operations.
- Address and resolve on-site challenges, including weather delays or material shortages.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.
- Track labor hours, equipment usage, and material costs to maintain budget control.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Train and mentor crew members to enhance skills and productivity.

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and formwork systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and structural drawings.
- Experience managing large-scale concrete projects.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and construction site best practices.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with tilt-up concrete construction or high-rise structural concrete.
- OSHA 30 certification and First Aid/CPR training.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
