Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Strictly adheres to Company and plant safety policies and procedures
• Completes all annual training as required
• Maintain and enforce a safe, clean work environment
• Select machine dies
• Determine setup procedures
• Reel extruded products into rolls or reels
• Specify lengths and weights of rolls or reels
• Replace worn dies
• Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings and temperature
• Synchronize speed of extrusion
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Locate defects on extruded parts troubleshooting
• Check for conformance to specifications
• Record product measurements
• Adjust controls as necessary
• Install, connect, test, and adjust equipment
• String up lines
• Clean tools and tooling
• Operate extruders
• Other duties as assigned
