Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our finance team. Specialized experience in lien release procedures related to construction projects is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Handle project budgeting and develop financial forecasts.
• Process and record all financial transactions linked to the project.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure precise billing and job costing.
• Track project progress, identify variances, and implement respective corrections.
• Regularly deliver project financial updates to senior stakeholders.
• Take charge of the lien release process and maintain corresponding records.
• Guarantee compliance with state and federal laws in all financial operations.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of robust accounting experience, preferably in construction accounting.
• Specific, proven experience with lien releases.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
