Your role and responsibilities
In this role, be the technical lead and/or design
authority for Process Automation engineering projects in Renewable, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power Generation, Water treatment industries both in USand global projects, making technical recommendations and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service. You will be responsible to ensure successful Distributed Control System delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with specifications and with quality and safety guidelines.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division in Houston, TX.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions, and utilizing feedback to drive delivery of improvements for medium to large
- Resolving technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in US and abroad
- Assisting Project Managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards, as well as technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals
- Cost-effectively executing Distributed Control System project deliverables on time in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety
- Design, Test and Commission Automation Enclosures, Control Logic and Human Machine Interfaces with ABB or 3rd party Control System
- Creating and delivering work plans, budgets, and risk assessments
- Developing your management skills by working with entry-level employees
- Developing, selecting, and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools, reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar engineering degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience working as an Engineer with Distributed Control Systems and/or PLC control systems and programming
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools
- Strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and work with diverse discipline project teams
- High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies
- Collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills
- Up to 25% domestic travel, international may be required but rare
