Lead Fabrication

Overview:

Complete welding assignments in a fast-paced environment focusing on quality and safety to maximize production.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, fabricate, and/or paint roll-off boxes, material handling equipment, and other projects
• Determine levels of repair needed and make decisions on what to repair and what to scrap
• Assign work to other techs for daily, weekly, and monthly operations
• Enter work orders, parts charge outs, and equipment ordering into MRO system
• Track time and costs of repaired items
• Communicate progress with other departments and supervisors
• Able to use a computer, e-mail, excel, and other fabrication based software.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to arc weld with stick and mig abilities efficiently.
• Ability to work independently focusing on quality and safety.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
