Front End Engineer II, Creators - New York

You and your team will be responsible for interfaces and services that can be deployed globally, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
As a front end engineer in our team you will have flexibility to drive changes to our front-end architecture, framework and work closely with product managers and UX designers.
Successful candidates need to be creative, innovative, flexible, self-directed, able to design and write reliable, maintainable and high-performance code. You must be able to deal with ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, multi-task and deal with complexity.If you enjoy dealing with high ambiguity, complexity and broad scope that will be at the epicenter of Amazon's social shopping efforts, come join us!- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company.
