Help Desk - Robert Half

Help Desk Technician to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and eager to build their IT careers. The position requires open availability to work first, second, or third shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Log and track support tickets using the company's ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.
• Assist with password resets, account unlocks, and basic user administration.
• Guide users through step-by-step solutions for common IT problems.
• Document solutions, processes, and user interactions for future reference.
• Support remote users with VPN and remote desktop connections.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Participate in shift rotations, covering first, second, and third shifts as needed

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common productivity tools.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• CompTIA A+ certification or similar is a plus.
