Key Responsibilities:
The Sportsplex facility is currently seeking responsible, enthusiastic, education-minded individuals with a passion for children to staff the Kidz Room and provide childcare services in a safe, caring, fun, and nurturing environment for children 6 months to 10 years of age allowing members to enjoy their workout at the Fitness Center.
The Kidz Room Attendant will lead and supervise playroom themes, games and activities while enforcing playroom policies and maintaining a high level of safety and cleanliness. This position will manage the Kidz Room entry and exit procedures to ensure the highest level of safety of children entrusted to care by our members.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:
High school degree is required. Coursework and/or training in early childhood development or education is preferred. Prior related experience with childcare is required along with knowledge and competency in childcare. Prior customer service experience is preferred.Ability to multi-task and implement creative age-appropriate themes, games and activities is needed. Must have a high level of patience and be able to work in a noisy environment.
Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays (about 8-12 hours per week).
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay rate: $14.00 - $16.30 DOQ
