Adecco is partnering with our client, MSA Bacharach, in staffing a 1^ST Shift Quality Inspector position in New Kensington, PA. You will be helping to make a difference to protect people in the workplace by inspecting and testing safety equipment.
Job Duties for the Quality Inspector include, but are not limited to:
- Performs inspections covering first-piece in-process and incoming and final inspection of parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products. Plans inspection procedures. Knows application of products. Constructively critiques workmanship, design, and methods. Is responsible for passing or rejecting work, referring exceptional cases to the QA Manager.
- Determines reason for defects. Prepares reports and records. May assist in directive movement of material per routing or operation sequence instructions.
- May assist QA Manager.
- Directs the processing of incoming repair arrivals, including the preparation of an arrival report and evaluation of condition and recommend corrective disposition.
- Adapts and develops inspection equipment and fixtures, makes complicated gauging setup when necessary.
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of inspection tools.
Qualifications for the Quality Inspector:
- Inspecting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, or schematics
- MS Office skills, familiarity with Excel
- Troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Pay Rate is $19.10/hr
- Weekly paycheck
- Shift Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-3:30PM

Pay Details: $19.10 per hour
