Scheduling Coordinator
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with medical scheduling along with great organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Take calls to schedule/reschedule home health visits.
- Function as a team member to organize and prioritize responsibilities to complete daily work assignments.
- Collaborate with other departments to continually work towards scheduling requirements.
- Performs other administrative duties as required.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Previous scheduling or related experience required.
- Proactive, critical-thinking skills; must be able to resolve issues, collaborate with a team, and understand the need for accurate and timely communication and escalation.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external personnel.
- Working knowledge of, or proficient in, Microsoft office applications, and quick-to-learn proprietary software packages.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, superb phone etiquette.
- Previous experience with Netsmart preferred.
