Application Support Engineer

We are a manufacturing company, located in Central, New Jersey, seeking an Application Support Engineer. This role involves providing technical support to our clients, ensuring optimal performance of our camera systems, and offering technical expertise in IP network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient and accurate support to clients regarding the installation and operationalization of our camera systems.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot any network-based video issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize strong knowledge of IP Video, IP Networking, and related Security Systems to maintain optimal performance of various video security applications.
• All candidates are required to undergo a standard verification process.
• Implement and configure smart thermal and smart PTZ cameras, integrate with various VMS and NVR devices, and existing network infrastructure.
• Work with video streaming protocols such as RTSP.
• Conduct thorough testing of IP video systems to ensure their functionality and reliability.
• Use skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Dell Technologies, Firewall Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management to carry out duties.
• Deliver excellent customer service, processing customer applications, and maintaining accurate customer records.
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is necessary.
• Possession of knowledge and skills in Citrix Technologies is required.
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is essential.
• Experience with Dell Technologies will be considered an advantage.
• Understanding of Firewall Technologies is a must.
• Proficiency in Active Directory is expected.
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies is required.
• Knowledge of Computer Hardware is necessary.
• Experience in Configuration Management is preferred.
• Excellent Customer Service skills are vital.
