Responsibilities for Logistics Associate
  • Create or request all documents required for product to be in conformance with country of destination, which includes Bills of Lading, Import Permits &, Certificates of Origin
  • Ensure customer compliance across local government, foreign government, banking, USDA regulations platforms.
  • Have the ability to process customer level service agreements and established routing guides.
  • Review and monitor import shipments, requests for information and other correspondence.
  • Index and create tracking files to initiate clearance process, once documents are received.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt of materials within the facility.
  • Interact and communicate with customers, vendors and colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations and provide on-time and quality delivery of freight.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Communicate with the sales team and operations to provide pricing and information on demand.
  • Be able to work effectively with other members of the team
  • At least 1 year experience a plus
