General Production Associate Entry Level
Position Summary: Provides hands on sorting and preparation support for producing accurate quality and quantity of recycled paper stock for mill customers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety for self and others into daily activities. Attends required safety training and participates in emergency drills and exercises.
- Reports all safety and quality problems to the Production leads or Production Manager.
- Sort materials, such as paper or plastics, into appropriate piles for further processing.
- Remove all foreign materials, such as metals, wood, and plastics, depositing materials into collection bins
- Stack and band pallets and Gaylords per requirements of facility
- May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Essential skills and experience:
- Ability to show up for all scheduled shifts
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk/bend/ lift continuously and perform physical tasks
- Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
- Ability to work independently or in a group.
- Strong attention to detail.
Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
