Entry Level Accountant

We are in search of an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, located in PORTAGE, Michigan, 49024-4420, United States. You will be entrusted with tasks such as processing and maintaining financial records, assisting in report generation, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial data input.

• Execute accurate data entry for financial records, ensuring that all information is complete and up-to-date.
• Assist in the generation and analysis of General Ledger (GL) reports on a regular basis.
• Review and verify financial documents such as invoices and expense reports.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc data analysis and reporting tasks as needed.
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data input.
• Assist in year-end financial reporting, including preparing GL summaries and reconciliations.
• Maintain and organize financial records, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Utilize your skills in Account Coding, Accounting Software Systems, Adobe Acrobat, Dynamics NAV, ERP Solutions, Account Analysis, Accounting Entries, Accounting Functions, and Account Reconciliation.
• Ensure the Accounts Payable (AP) process is managed effectively. • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry
• Proficiency in account coding and account analysis
• Demonstrated ability to handle accounting entries and reconciliations
• Experience with accounting software systems, such as Dynamics NAV and ERP Solutions
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and its applications within an accounting context
• Strong understanding of accounting functions and accounts payable (AP)
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
