Field Trip Nurse - School Health Services - NJSCHRN

• Pay: Total stipend of $115,000 annually

Qualifications:

1. Registered Nurse (RN) with state certification
2. CPR and First Aid certifications required
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially in a school setting
4. Ability to respond to medical emergencies with quick, appropriate action

Performance Responsibilities:

• Attend scheduled school field trips, providing medical services and support for students.
• Monitor students' health and well-being during travel and at off-site locations, including administering first aid as needed.
• Ride along with students on the bus, ensuring their safety and health during transit.
• Ensure that all health concerns are documented, including any treatments or interventions performed during the trip.
• Assist teachers in managing students with known medical needs, such as allergies or asthma, to ensure they have the proper medications and support.
• Prepare health-related information and supplies for each trip, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand.
