Patient Service Representative

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Service Representative in the healthcare industry, specifically within the NHS, based in Conshohocken Pennsylvania. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be expected to perform vital administrative functions, manage patient scheduling, and ensure the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Administer healthcare services, providing effective and efficient patient care.
• Manage inbound calls and emails, addressing patient queries and concerns.
• Handle patient scheduling, ensuring appointments are set and confirmed.
• Maintain and update patient records using software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and CRM.
• Use Crystal Reports and Dentrix Dental Software for various administrative tasks.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of authorizations and benefit functions.
• Manage billing functions, ensuring accurate invoicing and record keeping.
• Develop and maintain charts and graphs to display data and trends.
• Greet and guide patients upon their arrival at the facility.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient service and care at all times.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in using healthcare software like Allscripts and Cerner Technologies.
• Experience with CRM systems is essential.
• Must have a good understanding and working knowledge of Crystal Reports.
• Familiarity with Dentrix Dental Software is required.
• Must be comfortable answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with authorizations within a healthcare setting is a must.
• Should be able to perform benefit functions effectively.
• Knowledge of billing functions within the healthcare industry is necessary.
• Ability to interpret and create charts and graphs is required.
