Our Client, a well-established underground utility construction company based on Martinsburg, WV region, is seeking safe and dependable Construction Laborers and Heavy Equipment Operators. Qualified candidates will have experience working on site utilities projects: Water lines, Sanitary, Storm Water, Retention Systems, Gas Lines, etc.
This position requires weekly travel typically within PA, WV, VA, and/ or MD; Some home daily projects depending on where the employee resides. Most projects have crew meet at the construction site early Monday then home Thursday evening.
Overview of Schedule and Compensation for all positions: Hourly rate ($16.00- $20.00) ; **However Most Projects are paid at prevailing wage rate ($50.00 to $55.00/hr.)
The Crew will meet at construction site early Monday then typically home Thursday evenings; must have own transportation to and from the project sites
Overtime and 5+ days required at times. Must work overtime hours when required
Company pays lodging if out of town.

Position's General Qualifications:
Laborer with CDL- Valid Class A or B CDL licenses with at least 1 year of experience; CDL Class A highly preferred. Tanker endorsement is a plus
- Previous Construction Laborer experience required; water and sewer projects are highly preferred
- Previous experience operating on construction sites - Excavator, backhoe, dozers, rollers, skid steers.
- Mainline digging excavator experience is highly preferred.
- Experience running site utilities: Water lines, Sanitary, Storm Water, Retention Systems, Gas Lines, etc. is required
- Earthwork and grading experience
- Must be willing to complete laboring duties as needed
- 1+ years of general construction/mechanical maintenance experience preferable working on Open Cut or Bursting Sewer line or Cured-in-Place-Pipe Lining (CIPP) Mainline or Lateral projects
- 1+ years as a pipe laying experience and knowledge of utility pipe work is plus
