Position Overview

As the Director of Human Resources, you will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing all HR operations, talent strategies, and workforce development initiatives to ensure a thriving workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the hotel's operational and financial goals.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, recruitment, and retention efforts to attract top hospitality talent.
  • Drive employee engagement, training, and professional development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and hospitality industry standards.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and performance management to foster a positive work environment.
  • Lead workplace culture initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes with fairness and consistency.
  • Maintain HR metrics, including turnover rates, labor costs, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Oversee HRIS (Human Resources Information System) for efficient employee management.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

βœ”οΈ 5+ years of HR leadership experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.
βœ”οΈ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (SHRM or PHR certification preferred).
βœ”οΈ Deep understanding of labor laws, employee relations, and workforce compliance.
βœ”οΈ Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software.
βœ”οΈ Proven ability to build and maintain a strong workplace culture.
βœ”οΈ Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and workforce challenges.
