Part time Breastfeeding Peer Counselor (Bilingual Spanish/English) - Corona
They provide accurate breastfeeding information to help promote breastfeeding in the community.
Minimum Qualifications:-High School Diploma or GED required.-Bilingual Spanish/English is required. -Excellent written and oral communication skills.-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook.-Certifications in breastfeeding a plus, but not required.
Key Duties:-Provides basic breastfeeding education and support to assigned WIC prenatal or breastfeeding participants.-Documents the contacts in productivity record and submits the productivity record weekly to supervisor.-Completes all assigned breastfeeding trainings.-Follows the Peer Counselor contact frequency guidance.-Receives a caseload of WIC mothers and makes routine periodic contacts with all mothers assigned.
Starting Compensation: Minimum $17.25 per hour, Maximum $17.25 per hour
