What you’ll do

Making sure that the medical records program is well maintained, and complaint is a big deal, and you’ll make sure that we’re exceeding compliance standards! Specifically, we will look to you to review all records on the nursing units, assist in developing procedures to make sure records are properly assembled, coded, signed, and indexed before filing, and provide clerical support for the nursing leadership team.

You’ll also be an EMR expert!

What it takes
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in health information or related field preferred
  • Two years of medical records experience in a long-term care, hospital, or other related healthcare setting required
  • Must have working knowledge of diagnosis codes
