We are offering a long-term Part Time contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the manufacturing industry, based in Delano, Minnesota. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable, ensuring all payments are made in a timely and accurate manner
• Oversee accounts receivable, confirming all incoming payments are correctly recorded and applied
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate
• Manage the general ledger, updating and maintaining records as needed
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics CRM for data management and reporting
• Contribute to month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting
• Oversee company revenue recognition, ensuring all revenues are accurately recorded
• Manage fixed asset inventory, including recording acquisitions and disposals, and calculating depreciation
• Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline accounting processes
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity when handling company and customer information.

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a staff accountant role within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger, and Month End Close.
• Proven ability to handle Company Revenue Recognition and Fixed Asset Inventory.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
