Ob/Gyn Physician needed in Tampa
Ideally, the plan is to grow to four over the next few years. The practice has 7 employees and 2 part-time ultrasound technicians.
New physician can expect to work a 4.5-day workweek with day off per week. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 4:00 (or after the last patient for the day). Friday the office closes at 12pm.
The practice is 60% OB and 40% GYN. A new physician can expect 10-12 deliveries per month, 2-3 majors per month, and several minors. Call will be 1-3|4 days and weekends.
The practice has two offices. The primary officeisfully equipped with 6 exam rooms, 1 total procedure room, and an ultrasound room (3D 4D capable). The office also has a basic in-house lab for dips and draws. The second office is located on Webb road and is a satellite office and is similarly equipped, but smaller.
The practice performs all deliveries at a local hospital with a Level III NICU. All specialists on staff. This facility has several Da Vinci Robots with dual controls. 35% of Gyn cases are performed at another local hospitalalso equipped with Da Vinci Robotics.
Overall, the practice caters to a middle-class clientele. 40% Commercial, 15% Self Pay, and 45% Ob Medicaid.
The ideal candidate will be well trained and interested in working in a team environment. The group is looking for a long-term, mutually beneficial arrangement with the right physician. They arenot interested in making money from a new physician.This is more about growth and stability.
Salary in the first year will be negotiable starting at $210,000 with a built-in production incentive. He will offer a full benefits package including Health Insurance, license fees, Malpractice Insurance is offered. 2 weeks of vacation, 1 week of CME is also provided.
The second-year offer will be a base guarantee that will offer you 50% of your net receipts after expenses. Outstanding earning potential.
