Role Overview and Responsibilities:
The Engineering Technician is an integral part of the Engineering department. This role provides technical support to the operations team and is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and programming of manufacturing equipment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance and minor repairs on process area equipment to minimize downtime.
- Responsible for profile development and equipment programming.
- Perform minor program editing for process area equipment.
- Assist in writing and updating work instructions.
- Provide technical support or get input from an appropriate source (engineering, maintenance, tech. support).
- Solder analysis.
- Support Engineering as needed.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in engineering or related technical field or Four years of experience as an Engineeering Technician or related experience.
