Contracts Attorney

We are seeking a Contracts Attorney based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is within the corporate sector and involves the review, drafting, and redlining of corporate agreements, with a particular emphasis on vendor contracts. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

• Reviewing and drafting a variety of corporate agreements with precision and accuracy.
• Redlining vendor agreements to identify and address potential issues.
• Utilizing Conga software for efficient contract management.
• Participating in contract negotiations to ensure the best outcomes for the organization.
• Drafting vendor contracts and other agreements in line with company guidelines and legal requirements.
• Attending onsite meetings two days a week for collaboration with the general counsel.
• Leveraging skills in vendor contracts, redlining, contract negotiation, and drafting contracts and agreements to perform daily tasks.
• Managing a high volume of vendor agreements while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborating with various internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with company goals and objectives.
• Proactively identifying and resolving any issues or concerns related to the contracts. • Proficiency in Vendor Contracts

• Ability to Draft Contracts
• Skilled in Drafting Agreements
• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
• Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial law
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software
